Editorial Illustration - CoverMyMeds

This is an illustration I created for a CoverMyMeds insights article about biosimiliars. To put it simply, biosimilars are medications developed from living sources that are functionally equivalent to reference biologics, medications previously approved by the FDA.* Since the genetic makeup is of living organisms, there are slight variations which make it similar, not the same. I created this illustration in an attempt to depict that concept.
